FROM THE ARCHIVES: Judas Priest's Ian Hill (2002) interview with Darren Paltrowitz

Back in "the olden days" -- before my 21st birthday -- I had the pleasure of doing my first Judas Priest-related interview and that was with Judas Priest bassist Ian Hill. 2002 was an interesting time for Judas Priest where the band had recently released its second album with frontman Tim "Ripper" Owens, yet a reunion with frontman Judas Priest would be happening the following year. 19 years later, Judas Priest is still touring the world and writing heavy new music. Ian and I talked about the then-new album "Demolition," the then-recent album "Rock Star" with Mark Wahlberg, future plans and more. And he was as nice and patient as can be with a young and unfocused interviewer.
