Judgment is a spin-off series from the legendary Yakuza games from Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku. ("Yakuza" is now "Like a Dragon")

Judgment follows lawyer turned detective Takayuki Yagami as he solves cases around the familiar Kamurocho in Tokyo, Japan. In fact, if you have played the Yakuza games, you'll immediately feel at home, since the map is the same.

This game has two fighting styles, character control is great, graphics are amazing, and the whole game engine just feels amazing and responsive.

The voice acting is top-notch, just like all Yakuza games - but this game has an English voice option, where all Yakuza games (0-6 and Ishin) only have Japanese. So if you haven't played the Yakuza games because it feels weird to have to read subtitles, then check out Judgment. The games are so similar - it's basically another Yakuza game, but instead of Kiryu, you have Yagami.

Just like the Yakuza games, this game is HEAVY on story. There are tons of cinematics (cut-scenes) where you will set down your controller for 5-10 minutes (or more!) and just watch the engaging story unfold.

Also just like the Yakuza games, Judgment includes plenty of serious, dramatic missions, balanced out with hilarious, off-the-wall, ridiculous sub-stories. It's all weaved together seamlessly in a way that only Ryu Ga Gotoku can pull-off. This game is another masterpiece, and a MUST PLAY 🎮
