Prophecy, Israel and Palestine Peace (part 2): Abraham's legacy.

The on-going wars between the Jews and the Arabs is a tragedy. It is even more so when we realise that they are descended from brothers, children of Abraham. In this lecture, we examine the roots of the enmity between these nations, which begins in the Old Testament Book of Genesis. Here there are a number of contracts made with God and formalised with altar stones. Unwrapping the history of these explains both the conflict and its possible solution in our own times. Crucial to this perspective is the history of the ruined city of Petra in Jordan, the true birthplace of Islam.
