Treasure Valley Bus Service to Increase by 14%

The Valley Regional Transit Board of Directors has approved a new bus network redesign that will increase service by 14%. This is a reversal of the agency's original plan to reduce service.

The new network will maintain service to Southwest Boise, North Boise, and the Central Bench. It will also increase service on highly used routes in Boise, add additional stops in Caldwell, and provide new service on Saturdays on select routes.

The changes will take effect next summer. VRT is encouraging riders to sign up for email alerts to stay informed about the changes to the bus network.
