Life and successful progression in the light requires learning. Success requires knowledge. You must know the basics reading, writing, and arithmetic—in order to be a good soldier of the light. If you want to be a violinist, then you have to study the scales of music. If you want to be a singer, then you have to sing. Being successful at your craft requires that you study. And how can you lead others if you have not studied. Only those who have gained the knowledge will be promoted.

The art of compromise should be skillfully employed so that you always keep the advantage. Negotiate with your best interest in mind.

Always using the analogy of best interest in mind isn’t always good because it can lead to Psychological Egoism where you are always thinking you’re better than everyone else. Is underestimating the level of better and younger competition.

Compromising is a skill. The compromise must be negotiated to achieve or maintain the best advantage for you. If you must give something up, give up that which will cause the least amount of loss to the overall goal. It is not wise not to put all of your chips on the table.

Keep in mind a regular person's version of compromise is not on the same level as their version of compromise. Their version of compromise comes with a price, oath or contract. Handshakes vary depending on what society they are associated with or surround themselves with the most. A regular person's version of compromise does not come with a price, oath, contract or various handshakes when making a compromise.
