Freemasons use Rotary Club as a kind of cover story in social and political organizations to explain how, why and where from they know the large number of people they always seem to do. The reason they are involved however is not because of Rotary, it is because of Freemasonry. They will loudly introduce themselves as a Rotarian, they never say they are a Freemason for that is a secret they guard closely.
