The Perfect Example to Justify Closing Public Schools and Demanding School Choice

In 1979, Democrat President Jimmy Carter nationalized the nation's school system. The results are appalling and the future of the children of the United States of America has been destroyed. Clearly, that is the only way Democrats can win elections.

In Kentucky, as of 2019, nearly $15,000 is spent per student per year to educate children. Nearly half of that goes to the school district's administration and not to educating the children. No wonder Kentucky students rank in the bottom half of the nation's students.

On the other hand, the average cost to send a child to a private school in Kentucky is about $7,500 - about half of what the taxpayers pay to send kids to public schools.

Clearly, it is time to close public schools and force the school market to up their game by actually providing a real education to children and not treat education as a conveyor belt to push kids through the process with no thought of what they learn in the 13 years of K-12 schooling.

Anyone fighting for public schools and no school choice proves they are in education only for the money, not to educate children or prepare them for the real world.
