OREGON - Transgender patient testifies of the horrors of gender affirming care (cc)

When HB2002 was in committee during the legislative session public hearings were held. Many people testified of the horrors of gender affirming care. This testimony was of a person who was suing OHSU for the malpractice of misinformation during their process of transition.
HB2002 did pass in Oregon and gender affirming care including hormones, puberty blockers and surgeries are now available to children without parent knowledge. This new law also covers any health care providers from lawsuits when providing such care.
