Maryland judge shot and killed inside his home

A Maryland judge was tragically shot and killed in his driveway. Andrew Wilkinson, a judge of the Washington County Circuit Court, was discovered with fatal injuries in Hagerstown on Thursday evening.

His shooting prompted a rapid response from law enforcement to ensure the safety of other judges serving the area.

Wilkinson was urgently transported from his residence to a hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds, as reported by the police.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is currently treating his death as a homicide but has not yet disclosed the identity of a suspect, the Daily Sun reported.
