Gov't assures citizens of civic space to exercise rights and freedom is not “duty-free”, Gen Muhoozi
8 months ago
State Minister for Internal Affairs, Gen David Muhoozi, has informed the opposition that it's challenging for the government to thoroughly address their claims of human rights violations because a significant portion of the information they provide is unverified.
This statement came after the Leader of the Opposition, Mathius Mpuuga, presented a statement concerning unanswered questions regarding the arrests, disappearances, and abductions of National Unity Platform party supporters.
