NFL players, coaches and executives kneeled in protest during the national anthem. After the Cowboys followed suit, many fans expressed their anger. One in particular doused his Cowboys hat in gasoline and set it on fire.

Fumble host Britt Johnson comments the Monday night match when the Dallas Cowboys took on the Cardinals in Arizona and prior to kick off everyone was wondering what the players were going to do. Over the weekend, NLF players came together to lock arms or kneel while national anthem was sung in response to President Donald Trump calling them SOBs. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has previously said that players would be fired if they choose to take a knees, though it was a huge surprise when we all saw the Cowboys sideline to do this before the game.

Cowboys wanted to show unity, so players, coaches and owner locked arms and kneeled together, after which people were pissed off.

One fan decided to record a video of him putting a Cowboys' hat in a barbecue pit and torch it.

Comments on Twitter read "Dallas was on its way back to being America's team again not so much after the big kneel last night damn those cowboys and Jerry Jones.

The Cowboys kneeled before the national anthem not during the national anthem and people are still pissed off.
