Pierre-Marie Robitaille, professor for radiology at Ohio State University, built the first 8 Tesla nuclear magnetic resonance machine in 1998, setting the world record for image resolution.

After he had identified a flaw in Kichhoff's law of thermal radiation, Robitaille concluded that the Sun cannot be gaseous and provided strong evidence that it consists of liquid metallic hydrogen. In this interview, he describes his outstanding career and his personal way to science.

Videotaped in Munich 2019.

Alexander Unzicker is a theoretical physicist and science writer ("Bankrupting physics", "The Higgs Fake", "Einstein's Lost Key").
