Worst DIY projects to do!

Do-it-yourself home improvement projects can lead to some really big savings.
But, as an agent for 20 years, I’m here to tell you: there are times when its better to leave some tasks to the pros.

Here are 3 of the worst projects to try to tackle yourself.
1. Do it Yourself Electrical work.
The risk of fire from faulty wiring far outweighs any cost savings.
And trust me, any mistakes WILL turn up on a home inspection when it’s time to sell.

2. A DIY bath or shower addition
Leaks from poor plumbing can do serious damage to your home.
Unless you’re skilled, don’t try it.

3. Installing carpet or flooring on your own.
I know it’s tempting, but it’s harder than it looks.
