"This is crazy that the IDF was not prepared for this."

Israeli journalist, Efrat Fenigson (@efenigson), who served in the Israeli intelligence services, raises serious doubts about the Israeli government's "surprise attack" narrative.

"The forces did not arrive [until] sometimes 8 to 9 hours later, and in some cases, even 12 to 24 hours later... I know the security drills, I know the layers of defence that we have... and nothing worked according to what I know, to what everyone that serves in the army knows."

"We have the most high tech army in the world. We have all the top notch technology, we have the most advanced weaponry systems, we have sensors all around this gate... If a cat moves by this gate, forces are being alerted in order to go there and check what happened."

"Hamas released video footage about three weeks ago of their exact plan on how they're going to penetrate and attack Israel... We need to ask ourselves, how come this huge surprise attack is happening?"
