PD: Kidnapped Forest Park toddler found safe, but Green Township K-9 dies in pursuit

A 15-month-old child is safe after a late-night kidnapping on Kemper Meadow Drive, but a Green Township Police K-9 collapsed and died in the pursuit. Police dispatchers say three men carrying guns robbed a home at about 10 p.m. Monday and took the child with them. Officers with Green Township assisted in the search, eventually finding the child and a fourth suspect, 19-year-old Anquan Williams. However, the police dog did not survive the chase. Police are still looking for three suspects.
