3 normal things but forbidden in North Korea
North Korea, officially known as the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), has strict rules and regulations that govern the behavior and activities of its citizens and visitors. Here are three normal things that are forbidden in North Korea:
Freedom of Movement: In North Korea, citizens do not have the freedom to travel within or outside the country without government approval. Travel to foreign countries is highly restricted, and even domestic travel within North Korea requires permission. Unauthorized movement can lead to severe punishments, including imprisonment in labor camps.
Access to Information: North Korea has strict censorship and limited access to information from the outside world. Foreign media, websites, and international news are generally prohibited. Possession or distribution of unauthorized information, books, or media can result in punishment, as the government tightly controls the flow of information to maintain its propaganda and ideology.
Freedom of Expression and Criticism: Speaking out against the government or its leadership, including any form of dissent or criticism, is not tolerated in North Korea. Expressing dissent or challenging the regime can lead to severe consequences, such as imprisonment, forced labor, or even execution. Public displays of affection for any foreign ideology or culture are also highly discouraged.
