Man arrested for allegedly mistreating dog and leaving it with serious injuries

Police have arrested Marco A. Rodriguez after a pit bull was allegedly found chained to a pole and suffering from serious injuries outside a body shop. They say the senior human officer was called to the business along Dousman Street on Friday afternoon because a caller asked for a welfare check on the dog.
