High cost of diabetes drives patients to sell their own insulin and testing supplies, creating a black market. Re-sellers exploit vulnerable patients, who pay pennies on the dollar for supplies from patients, who can get sick without testing and medicine. Some Medicare and Medicaid patients fleece taxpayers by illegally selling supplies you paid for. Craigslist and E-Bay fail to enforce their own policies and remove ads for illegal insulin sales.
