Cyberpunk2077 Phantom Liberty Nomad Ep06 - Motor Boy (No Commentary)

In a lot of ways I really like the changes they've made to the NCPD and how they interact with Night City.

But it isn't fun when they get almost spontaneously triggered and start interfering in a firefight between V and different gangs. It's implied that the NCPD outsources a lot of it's crime-fighting to subcontractors, mercs like V, and actively reaches out to advertise bounties on targets like Motor Boy.

So why would they react to efforts to do the kind of work they are outsourcing to mercs?

"Hey dispatch you know that contract we put out on those Tyger Claws? Yeah someone just showed up and start shooting at them."

"Guess we'd better run in and stop them doing the work we wanted them to do."
