Replacing the Batteries on a Harbor Freight Welding Helmet

This is a Chicago Electric Auto-Darkening Welding Helmet from Harbor Freight. Item number 91214. There are two CR2335 batteries that are soldered in. I experimented with soldering an exhausted battery and it works but I think it's bad for the battery and dangerous in that the battery can explode. Why bother soldering in fresh batteries when you would have to replace them in about 5 years?
I found a battery tray that holds two CR2032 batteries in a series. See: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BXDHT4B?psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=takeabathprod-20&linkId=a558788e7d8e9aad944b86cdf120643a&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl

I replaced the lens assembly in my welding helmet so this lens will be a backup. See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9UrPN9L7Zw
