OREGON asking EV owners to pay TAX

Oregon is asking EV (electric vehicle) owners to participate in a pay per mile tax. EV owners will have a device on their vehicle to track mileage for a tax. Taxes have to be paid for in some way! Currently the purchase price of gas in Oregon includes a tax that pays for road maintenance. If an EV isn't using gas then the state will get it's tax in another way while tracking EV owners
