First shipment of American armoured vehicles arrive in Israel
An American plane has landed at Ben Gurion Airport with a shipment of armored vehicles for the Israeli military.
The ministry says the delivery is part of a larger NIS 400 million procurement to bolster the Israel Defense Forces’ fleet of vehicles.
It says further shipments will also contain armored ambulances, trucks, and mechanical engineering equipment.

Hamas is a designated terrorist group backed by Iran and that has governed the Gaza Strip since 2007.
Hamas began firing thousands of rockets on Saturday morning, striking targets as far away as Tel Aviv and the outskirts of Jerusalem, which rarely see any direct hits because of Israel's sophisticated Iron Dome missile defense system.

Israel on Sunday formally declared war on Hamas.
