Out of touch politicians think electric cars are taking over....

The batteries materials being mined by children, politicians having staffers holding charging spots with gas cars, batteries not working in cold environments, no infrastructure is in place for this... Are they planning to turn city sidewalks into power strips? Common sense and logic are a thing of the past it seems, what do you think?
