Forgiving others. Sometimes we all struggle with that. We have been hurt, demeaned, ridiculed, put down, and/or just overtly offended by someone and it has eaten our emotional lunch. As believers in Jesus, of all people, we must continue, by God's power in us, to forgive those who offend us. Jesus in this parable in Mt 18 confronts all of us with the question....."Will you forgive this person?" If we do practice forgiveness, we will experience the continued abundant life in Christ. If we don't, there will be part of our life that will be consumed with ever present bitterness and frustration until we do.
