This is a capture of me and a friend playing the Total War multiplayer mode in Conker's Bad Fur Day on the Nintendo 64. This is not an emulator. This footage was captured directly from my Nintendo 64 using an actual Conker's Bad Fur Day cartridge. I'm player one and Drew is player two. We're playing on the Squirrel side on Einstein difficulty with 8 Tediz on the opposing team.

Drew and I have this tradition dating back to 2001 where we play Conker whenever he visits because the multiplayer is so damn awesome. Over the past few years we started regularly recording our gameplay to see if we'd end up with any amazing new footage. We recently managed to record some awesome new War footage, so I'm replacing the old video with some higher-quality stuff.

Back in the day Drew and I used to play Total War with even teams, meaning that we would have AI teammates. However, somewhere along the line Drew discovered that we could imbalance the teams on the menu screen so that we could play by ourselves against even more opponents. So Drew actually started the tradition of having the both of us face off against a maximum of eight Tediz opponents. The ensuing carnage was just hilarious, and we stuck with it ever since.

In this match Drew and I ran amok while killing Tediz with anything we could. I got some nice kills with the chainsaw and flame thrower, and Drew got some awesome sniper and grenade shots. We also stopped the evil Tediz bastards from capturing our canister. Overall, this is one of the most entertaining War matches we've had. I hope you enjoy the new footage.

Recorded with the Hauppauge HD PVR and the official N64 S-video cable. I used a Toshiba model D-R550 DVD Recorder to upconvert the N64's native 240p signal to 480i so that the Hauppauge could capture the console's audio/video signal.

We're both using standard Nintendo 64 controllers.
