In this video a share a great example of what it may sound like when brakes are "metal to metal". The audio was taken from my 05 Scion TC. I also, explain what happened to cause my brakes to go "metal to metal" and then I go over a few reasons that it is so very important not to ignore it when you suspect your brakes may have gone "metal to metal". Ideally you don't want to be in this position at all. Typically having your brakes checked out regularly and replacing your pads as needed will prevent you from getting into this situation in the first place.

Note: This is an informational video, not a "how to" video. I'm simply sharing my knowledge. The video I very generic in nature. The information, in my experience, is applicable to most vehicles but not all. Please verify video is suited for your vehicle or whatever vehicle you are working on.

Note: The sound in the video may not be identical to the sound that every vehicle out there makes when brakes are metal to metal. This is just one example.
