NEW REPORT: June 24, 2023 - Utah Home Prices DOWN HOW MUCH? SHOCKING NEW Data. Unbelievable Year over Year Utah Housing Numbers. Most People Won't Believe What's Happening. I’m comparing Year over Year numbers to show you how much things have changed. A year ago in May 2022, 4,059 homes were sold compared to 3,389 last month. That’s 670 fewer homes sold. A year ago, days on market was 6. So, it’s taking 17 days longer to sell a home today. The median price per sq.ft. a year ago was $244, so we are $18/sq.ft. lower than last May. In May 2022, the Median Sold price for a single-family home was nearly $600,000 compared to $541,000 today. The median sold price is still $57,500 lower than when the housing market was HOT last year. Looking at this data one might think the market is declining, but home prices have increased the last 4 months.
