From its earliest days, Doctor Who didn’t just feel like no other series on British TV. It sounded like no other, either! Although the days of whizzes, pops and penny whistles are long gone, the soundtrack to the Time Lords travels are as idiosyncratic as ever. BBC Studios recently staged an event in honour of the music and those who’ve made it. Broadcast in full on Radio 2 this weekend just gone.
