3 modern day battles will matter to us as we move forward.

Battle of Issus -
on (5 November) 333 BC between the Hellenic League led by Alexander the Great and the Achaemenid Empire, led by Darius III. It was the second great battle of Alexander's conquest of Asia, and the first encounter between Darius III and Alexander the Great. The battle resulted in the Macedonian troops defeating the Persian forces.

Battle of Gaza -
as part of the Wars of Alexander the Great, took place in (October) of 332 BC. Resulting in a victory for Macedon, it ended the 31st Dynasty of Egypt, which functioned as a satrapy under the Achaemenid Persian Empire.

Alexander succeeded in reaching the walls of Gaza by utilizing the engines that he had employed earlier that year, during the siege of Tyre. Following three unsuccessful assaults, the Macedonian army was able to storm and take the Gazan stronghold.

Batis, the military commander of Gaza's fortress (Hamas today), expected to hold the city as well as the rest of Egypt in complete subjection until the raising of another army by Persian king Darius III; confronting Alexander at Gaza was crucial to denying the Macedonians a route into the Egyptian mainland.[6] The fortress was located on an eminence, on the edge of a desert from which the surrounding area could be easily controlled, including the main road from Assyria to Egypt.

Battle of Gaugamela -
also called the Battle of Arbela (Ἄρβηλα, Árbēla), took place in 331 BC between the forces of the Army of Macedon under Alexander the Great and the Persian Army under King Darius III. It was the second and final battle between the two kings, and is considered to be the final blow to the Achaemenid Empire, resulting in its complete conquest by Alexander.

The fighting took place in Gaugamela, a village on the banks of the river Bumodus, north of Arbela (modern-day Erbil, in Iraqi Kurdistan). Despite being heavily outnumbered, the Army of Macedon emerged victorious due to the employment of superior tactics and the clever usage of light infantry forces. It was a decisive victory for the League of Corinth, and it led to the fall of the Achaemenid Empire and of Darius III.

If history plays out in the future (past to future) then we will see Erdogan of Turkey move his navy to set-up a blackage in the Mediterranean Sea. He will siege Gaza against Hamas to protect the Muslim people's the Palestinians or Gazan's.

As they is happening will will see Erdogan of Turkey amass an invasion force in Turkey on the northern border of Syria. The Kurds-Medes will counter by trying to cut off the Turkish forces to the north of the invasion force. This attack by the Kurds-Medes fails and they fall back to the east toward Erbil, Iraq.

Turkey move down through Syria into Lebanon to Tyre. They move into Israel and around Jerusalem to Gaza. Invade Gaza against Hamas. Hamas falls and Turkey moves then down into Egypt. Egypt is overwhelmed. Once Erdogan and Turkey conquer Egypt; they move back to Tyre, Lebanon. Then to Gaugamela or Erbil Iraq. The Kurds-Medes lose this 2nd battle and they colapse to Baghdad, Iraq and then Shush, Iran. Once the Kurds are forced between Baghdad, Iraq and Shush, Iran; both the Kurds-Medes and Iran-Persia fall as a nation. This completes Daniel 8.

Dec. 22, 2023 - 10 Tevet - A siege on Jerusalem by 10 nations for 15 days.
Jan. 6, 2024 - A 6th Seal event - which is the destruction of 10 nations by the Wrath of the Lamb (Jesus the Son), 15 days after the start of the siege of Dec. 22, 2023.
