DIY Elephant Safari in Sri Lanka?!

You won't believe your eyes! We drove through Kataragama Road so we could do a "do it yourself" elephant safari in Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka is a beautiful and diverse country that we spent a month traveling through. We wanted to do a do it yourself elephant safari in Sri Lanka, and wow was that dangerous! We rented a motorbike and drove through a road close to Yala National Park, famous for its Sri Lankan elephants. The road is called Kataragama Rd for those of you wanting to see elephants while you travel Sri Lanka. I will say, be careful! The Sri Lankan elephants in the National Park are wild and not afraid of you. We witnessed an elephant attacking a bus to get more food. We couldn't believe our eyes!
