Hiking with dogs on the Appalachian Trail - Lake Watauga, Hampton Tennessee #at

Took the dogs out for a nice hike along the Appalachian Trail in Hampton, TN. Just north of the Boots Off Hostel as the trail crosses Highway 321, there's a small parking area and trailhead. We did a 2+ mile out and back, however, you can follow the trail all the way to the Watuaga Dam and beyond if you chose.

Ellie and Cody (our pups) tired out quickly but really wanted me to share their hike with you!
