Forza Motorsport 8 is a racing simulation game that tries to accurately portray cars and physics in a realistic manner. This is not a game where you can go "pedal to the metal" all the time! You will have to slow down to 15-30mph to make the corners! You also won't be able to drift around corners the way you do in arcade racers.

But as long as you remember to slow way down before all corners, and then accelerate out of the turns, you will have a pretty good time.

If you try to speed around the corners, you'll find the steering basically doesn't work, and you'll be hitting the walls every time. So, get your car down to 15-30mph before those curves.

Gameplay is overall fun, but it does take time to understand how to control the cars. So give this game at least an hour before judging it.

While I prefer racing games that have drifting and awesome crashes, Forza Motorsport did become enjoyable with continued play as I started to understand the mechanics of the game.
