Not only will it break the Plastic can definitely be recycled back into the gasoline, however the whole reason why they do not do this is because oil is a renewable resource and dirt cheap to produce, and the other reason is because if they recycled all the plastic into gas, it would mean gas prices would have to come down drastically, which greedy corporations do not want.
