How to Build a 'Reliable' AR-47 (7.62x39mm AR-15) 🔫

From personal experience: you need an Enhanced Firing Pin coupled with a Wolff Extra Power Hammer Spring to munch through Russian and MilSurp ammo with hard primers without light primer strikes. Then a decent magazine like a Duramag. Stay away from other 7.62x39mm AR mags, like ASC! They are awful with Steel Cased ammo and don't feed properly without internal polishing and/or Dremel work to the feed lips. Removing the spring from a Tapco AK-47 magazine and replacing the garbage spring inside the AR-47 magazine with it is also a good idea!

I have no idea why they sell these shitty ASC mags that will get you killed in a firefight! Duramag ONLY!

Bear Creek Arsenal makes a very decent and affordable 7.62x39mm AR-47 upper for you AR-15 lower if you do not want to build the entire gun piece by piece.

Or skip this AR project all together and get a AK-47/AKM or SKS rifle! They always work fine!
