The world isn't going to solve itself, so let's get serious about taking action!

In this Zoom we take a look at jurisdiction and the legal authority of the municipalities. Can they really create laws and how can we hold folks accountable for violating our rights?

We also dug into the latest from Edmonton where the city is in the final stages of bylaw rezoning and district (HUNGER GAMES) planning.

Edmonton City Council is holding a public hearing regarding new land use zoning bylaws that are part of the cities CLIMATE FOR CHANGE INITIATIVE: https://changeforclimate.ca/programs.

This is the final stage of the zoning bylaw changes; after this they will be voting to approve the changes. This is what the city considers as "public consultation". So folks, have a listen and if you are in Edmonton, take notes and get ready to hold folks accountable!

The hearings are being aired on YouTube each day from starting 9:30 am MST to 12:00 pm, then 1:30 pm to 5 pm, then 6 to 9 pm - yes, it is this many hours!
