Utah Real Estate Since the PEAK of the MARKET #utahhousingmarket

NEW REPORT: July 26, 2023. Utah home prices are WAY down since the peak of the market. When looking at the most recent data, Utah’s housing market looks much worse today? But comparing data from 13 months ago can be misleading. Let’s see how things look today compared to the peak of the market. 701 fewer homes sold last month compared to the peak. In May of 2022, homes Sold in 6 days. It’s taking 15 days longer to sell a house today. The median price per sq.ft. at the peak was $244.26. We are down $16/sq.ft. The Median Sold price for a single-family home was $598,500 vs $550,000 today. The median price is $48,500 lower. Home prices were down by more than $100,000. But prices have now increased 5 months in a row.
