Rules King Charles Must Follow At The Coronation

So that happened. Yes, King Charles is finally king. And whether or not you think that throwing a ridiculously expensive party during this financial, environmental, and political climate is how you say MADNESS, well too bad, it’s his party and he can king out if he wants to.

So what were the rules that this man who just couldn’t wait to be king had to follow? Starting with holding a scepter and an orb, wearing really old robes (sorry we mean vintage).

Greeting his subjects from a balcony. Walking down the aisle like it’s his wedding day. And let’s talk about the guest list, William, Kate, Camilla obviously. But where was Meghan? At home with her children, however, Harry repped well. And while it probably isn’t classic royal protocol to have so much drama surrounding a ceremony, when you literally have to be bathed in oil and wrapped in a white cloth, drama may as well be the theme of the day.

So strap on your fascinators, or maybe don’t, considering hats are not allowed at the Coronation… and adjust those tiaras because this video is getting into the nitty-gritty of the rules King Charles followed at the Coronations.
