#25 A new drive

This week we are doing several upgrades around the property to help us adjust to Autumn and its challenges. We continue the job of installing wall insulation in the kitchen, using sheepwool! We work on more clearing of the site. A truck then delivers 10 tonnes of 804 gravel which we put in place as our new temporary drive to end our struggle with the mud. The never-ending job of cutting wood continues so that we can keep warm, but we have also installed extra lighting around the site and in the house to help with the darker evenings. We also make adjustments to bring indoors our secondary solar kit - to make it more accessible but also winter safe.
