Reps. Anthony D'Esposito (R-NY) and Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL) voted for Lee Zeldin and Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) and were the 3rd and 4th House Republicans to vote against their speaker nom. Which officially ended his chances of becoming speaker on the first ballot.
