NOTE ON THE 10-15-23 CLASS
The 10-15-23 class was about the psychological cause and effect processes that lead to war and the alternative psychological cause and effect processes that could prevent war, with the current Israel-Hamas war being a case in point. We drew on numerous passages both from the Bible and from extra-Biblical wisdom to inform the discussion of how human psychology leads to war and how the thought system given to us by God could prevent war.

CORRECTIONS TO MY STATEMENTS AT THE 10-15-23 CLASS
>> From 17:30 to 17:55, I said “The concept of The Force in the Star Wars movies is very very closely related to the concept of Logos in the Star Wars movies.”
What I meant to say was “The concept of The Force in the Star Wars movies is very closely related to the concept of Logos in the Gospel of John and probably also in Philo.”
>> At 22:40 to 22:55, when I said “so then it would be a connection with your mind” what I meant to say was “so then it would be a connection between their minds and your mind.”
>> At 38:50 to 38:56, “We’re gonna go to Hosea chapter six” should have been “ … Hosea chapter four.”
>> At 39:29 to 39:36, when I said “Hosea would be the second in that century,” what I meant was “the second most important in that century.”
>> From 39:37 to 39:50, when I was commenting on the books of the prophets, I said “In terms of the quality of the prophetic books, I think you have to put Jeremiah and Hosea probably tied for first, and then I would put Hosea second.”
What I meant to say was “I think you have to put Jeremiah and Isaiah tied for first, and then I would put Hosea third.”
>> At 48:14 to 48:18, when I said “Well, they weren’t thinking about that, and neither were the Germans,” what I meant to say was “Well, the Japanese weren’t thinking about that, and neither were the Germans.”
>> At 1:13:42, quoting the Gospel of Thomas saying 29, “Yet I dwell …” should have been “Yet I marvel …”
>> At 1:41:27 to 1:41:35, when I said “It’s not a failure to recognize …” what I meant to say was “I’m not advocating failure to recognize …”
