Hey what’s up guys here is another problem I’ve come across
And that is.. running out of usb headers on your mother board.
This happens when you want an entirely unnecessarily flashy pc
By adding things like an nzxt kraken lcd aio
Lian li fans with the controller
Or the lian li strimer cables
I was in this predicament recently and I tried searching around
For a solution and reddit saved the day.
I was trying to see if the connection was necessary
Of course it was but I had to check you know
And I came across this comment thank goodness
And the commenter suggests that since the connection on the controller
Is micro usb, that you should be able to run a micro usb cable and then connect
The A side to an external usb port on your motherboard and that’s what I did
So this worked for me in a pinch and conversely you can could order a usb header
Splitter.
