According to Prahlāda Mahārāja, material prosperity on Earth or other planets is temporary and influenced by material nature. Srila Prabhupada mentions in his references to the Bhagavad-gītā that even the highest planets are perishable. He encourages us to forsake perishable pursuits and concentrate on the everlasting.

Prahlāda Mahārāja highlights the importance of worshiping the Supreme Personality of Godhead for attaining eternal life. He emphasizes the pointlessness of planning for permanent settlement in the material world, which often leads to the opposite outcome. Nature's law is to destroy everything in its path.

He highlights that our desires revolve around bodily comfort, yet the body is impermanent. Prahlāda warns against developing attachments to various worldly possessions such as children, wives, houses, wealth, kingdoms, treasuries, elephants, ministers, servants, and friends, as they are all connected to material opulence.

Prahlāda ultimately encourages focusing on spiritual goals and attaining permanent, supreme knowledge. In contrast, he highlights the fleeting nature and illusions of the material world, underscoring the necessity of moving towards a lasting, spiritual realm in the search for Absolute Truth.
