Gaza is facing a humanitarian crisis of catastrophic

proportions.

Israel's total siege of the territory has cut off supplies of food, water and fuel for more than a week. Borders are closed, so aid isn't getting in -- and people aren't getting out.

All this as Israel's bombing campaign kills and injures thousands of Palestinians, many of them children. So, what will it take for life-saving aid to reach the besieged enclave?
