Minecraft and the Bible - Numbers 31-33

In this Let's Play series, we'll be listening to chapters 31-33 of the book of Numbers from the Bible while playing Minecraft! We'll learn about the Israelites' victory over the Midianites, the division of the spoils of war, and Moses' final words to the Israelites.

*as an additional side note, this is my first experience with Minecraft, so this Let's Play will probably move a bit slow.

Chapter 31: The Israelites waged war against the Midianites in retaliation for the Midianites' role in leading the Israelites astray to worship the Moabite god Baal-peor. The Israelites defeated the Midianites and killed all of their men, including their five kings. The Israelites also took all of the Midianite livestock and women as spoils of war.

Chapter 32: The tribes of Reuben and Gad requested that Moses be allowed to settle in the land of Jazer and Gilead, which the Israelites had captured from the Amorites. Moses agreed, but only on the condition that the two tribes would help the other tribes conquer the Promised Land.

Chapter 33: This chapter contains a list of all the places where the Israelites camped during their forty-year journey through the wilderness. The chapter also describes the borders of the Promised Land, which God had promised to give to the Israelites.

Numbers 31-33 are important chapters because they provide insights into the Israelites' journey through the wilderness and their preparations to enter the Promised Land. These chapters also teach us about the importance of obedience to God and the consequences of disobedience.
