SAT Scores For Michigan High School Students Fall For The Third Straight Year

The latest information released by MI School Data shows that Michigan student’s average SAT scores have dropped for the third straight year.

Officials say this further shows the troubling outlook of the state’s education system post-pandemic.

At 959.9, the average score dropped 36.1 points below the previous year, and set the lowest mark in the state since the test was implemented statewide in 2015-16.

The ratings are based on students’ scores in the SAT in both the evidence-based reading and writing and math sections of the test.
