General Motors is delaying electric pickup truck production due to a slow demand for EVs.

The company says a Detroit factory was scheduled to begin production next year but will instead wait until late 2025. A spokesperson for the company says the decision was not impacted by the United Auto Workers Union strike. Workers at the plant will be offered positions at other factories in the state until production begins.
