Kinks main man Ray Davies talking about the live music scene in London in 1973. Times were changing from the English pop scene of the mid to late 1960's, once awash with an embarrassment of riches, but the brightest jewel in the crown was undoubtedly Ray Davies, a songwriter without equals, one who perfectly encapsulated British life and fronted one of the greatest bands of all time.
