Strange Underground City
Stranger than anything found in Egypt

Imagine standing in a cave that's older than all known historical records. We're about to take you to the heart of an ancient underground fortress that witnessed many epic battles and legendary sagas. Its history is far more shrouded in mystery than the underground city of Derinkuyu Turkey, where people hid during war times. From the grandeur of the famous Treasury of Petra, Jordan, as depicted in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. We journey East, beyond the Kailasha Temple, which was carved in one take, with zero mistakes, from the top down into solid igneous basaltic bedrock.

The Longyou Caves are a fully unsolved mystery, unlike the Terracotta Army. No one knows how long the Longyou Caves have been there, or why that location was chosen, or if those equidistant patterned marks seen on the walls of the caves were caused by hand tools or a rotating machine. The caves were unearthed in 1992 when farmers stumbled across some strangely deep pools, which turned out to be some 25 caves covering over 30,000 square meters. For a proper underground city.
