See how to build a Lego Minecraft Axolotl, in gold, wild (brown), or cyan (designs of course can be adapted to blue or lucy / leucistic / pink) using 20 Lego pieces, 37 pieces, 60 pieces, or 237 pieces. These easy to build MOCs use mostly common bricks. The smallest design is around minifigure scale, with the largest being the most detailed but also very much oversized to look great displayed on your shelf.
