Thank you all for helping Gold Puffin to reach 25K subscribers! To celebrate, I'm holding a 25 piece MOC contest. Here's everything you need to know to take part:

1. To enter, you need to submit a video of a MOC created by you that uses exactly 25 pieces.

2. You need to upload your video to your YouTube channel, and then comment on THIS video with the link - make sure you do this on THIS video, and in a new comment (not a reply to another comment).

3. If you can't upload your entry to YouTube, you can submit it by emailing goldpuffinlegoanimation@gmail.com

4. Your entry must be uploaded or emailed to me by the end of the day on Saturday 25th July. "By the end of the day" means by midnight at the end of 25th July in whatever timezone you live in.

5. Your entry should use exactly 25 pieces. If you accidentally use more pieces or less pieces, your entry will still be considered but you will be unlikely to win. Your video should clearly show all of the pieces when they are separate as well as when they are built into the MOC.

6. You should use Lego pieces. If you don't have genuine Lego, you can use another brand of blocks such as Mega Blox, but you're not allowed to use weird pieces from other brands that don't exist in Lego.

7. Your MOC should actually be built in real life with physical pieces - you can't create it only in Lego Digitial Designer (LDD). The reason for this rule is that I think using LDD gives an unfair advantage, because it allows access to almost any type of pieces in any colour. It's therefore much easier to create MOCs in LDD, as it removes all the limitations of working with only the pieces you have, needing to find the pieces, etc. Sorry - because I do think LDD is really cool, but I just don't think it's fair for LDD designs to compete against physical MOCs.

8. There will be a prize of a Lego set up to a value of 25 US dollars for the winner. You can choose any set so long as it is actually available and can be purchased for $25 or less.

9. By entering the contest, you agree that Gold Puffin can feature a part or all of your MOC video in the winner announcement video.

10. The winner will be announced on Saturday 8th August.

11. Gold Puffin will be the judge of who has won the contest, based on judging the relative merits of the MOCs - their originality, details, techniques, and overall appeal.
